One of the reasons why NTP was nominated is the work that has been done in connection with the integration of refugees, where through, among other things, language practice, more than 20 refugees have been employed. This is a model which in collaboration with NAV and Luster municipality has given good results and has led to permanent appointments.

Another reason is that NTP was one of three companies in Luster that took the initiative to establish the first LOOP collaboration. This is a collaboration where three companies come together to offer work training to three young people who are out of work. The companies form a loop (an annual cycle) where the young people roll four months in each of the companies - with the promise of one year of work experience in total. In addition, NTP has for many years focused on facilitating work tasks and adaptation.

These measures are in addition to the fact that NTP constantly works with high demands on quality and efficiency to win orders and contracts in Norway and the rest of Europe. The company is today a world leader in innovation and technology, the combination of experts and unskilled provides a good environment for new ideas and thoughts. According to general manager Tom Dyrdal, this working environment is one of the main reasons for the company's progress. "Our employees do a great job on a daily basis to establish and maintain this environment. This means that we can have 11 nationalities working with a good mix of age and gender. In addition, we can take extra initiatives to give more people a chance. in working life ".

Dyrdal emphasizes that the prize is for the entire NTP. " If not everyone was willing to make arrangements, our measures would have been wrong. I am happy to hire a company that has employees with such values, and I think the price is well deserved."
