We often experience that customers ask if we are Oeko-tex certified, and yes, we are. NTP's transfer marks are approved according to classification 1, which has the strictest requirements and which indicates that the marks may be in contact with baby skin. If you want to offer your customers the best, then choose NTP.
What is Oeko-tex?
Oeko-tex is today the most well-known brand in the world for labeling product safety and sustainable production in the textile industry. Its origins date back to the early 1990s, more specifically 1992. At that time, there was no standard for how tests and labeling of textiles should be performed. Two laboratories in Germany and Austria, respectively, were the start of what today comprises 17 test institutes, which make up the international Oeko-tex Association. The requirements are strict, and there are many criteria that must be met, including maximum limits for a number of chemical substances. The certification is valid for 12 months and random samples are taken of more than 25% of issued certificates. This eco-label is today the most used by the textile industry in Europe, and is now beginning to gain a foothold in Asia.

Why Oeko-tex?
Oeko-tex is often one step ahead of the legislation, and today has significantly stricter requirements and limit values than other standards. The process of getting our brands Oeko-Tex certified is both costly and time consuming. For an NTP, this has always been an easy choice, as we want our customers to be able to offer their customers products with the highest degree of quality and product safety. This can be documented through our certification.
